More random (but sensible) game related purchases, this time rechargable AA batteries and also a new controller. I'm still gonna keep using my current one I just realized that the old NES30 Pro I have has tiny-ass buttons and rather than just deal with the tiny buttons I'd rather just get a new controller for retro games. Idk I feel like if I keep yapping about this I'll just feel the need to justify it unnecessarily, I just bought a thing I wanted even if I don't, strictly speaking, need it.

I'm kinda close to finishing with Forgotten Land. I've beaten the main postgame, and now I've moved onto the DLC. There's two whole arenas to do (one from the base game, one from the DLC) but idk if I'm gonna do them, and idk if I wanna go for 100%. There's nothing you get for saving all the Waddle Dees, though I got all of the collectibles in the postgame world because it just feels wrong in a narrative sense not to do so.
